In the wake of Mister Cee’s second arrest for soliciting prostitutes, the famous Hot 97 DJ is laughing off haters’ comments and maybe even poking a little fun at himself. What he isn’t doing, however, is owning up to the situation just yet.
Power 105 DJs Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy focused on the Mister Cee scandal in their morning show, The Breakfast Club yesterday. Charlamagne awarded Mister Cee his “Daily Donkey of the Day” for being arrested for a second time in connection to prostitution, urging him to live his truth:
Cee, who was less than amused, shared the tweet in a screenshot from his Instagram account with this caption:
Yikes!
While he took plenty of jabs at Mr. Cee, Char and Envy also expressed some major concerns for their fellow DJ and urged Cee to make “homosexual hip-hop history.”
The jokes didn’t stop there, however. Charlamagne’s co-worker DJ Reymo fired shots via his Instagram in this meme, which Mr. Cee later reposted.
He captioned the photo:
“Make Sure Y’all Follow @djreymo From Power 105. Thanx 4 The Hate Friend.”
After a long day of dealing with haters, as well as concerned friends and fans, Cee thanked everyone who stood by him through the controversy, saying he is “a work in progress.”
We don’t know what to believe, but if Mister Cee is gay, we hope he can muster up the courage to make hip-hop history and be who he really is…
