Have you ever wondered how young the “young” rappers really are?
Well, thankfully for you, we know all of their ages.
From the time they dropped their first studio album to now, some “young” rappers were young and others…not so much.
Rappers like the Young Gunz were in their late teens/early twenties when they kicked off their career, and although it’s been 10 years, Young Gunz member Young Chris still considers himself “young” at the ripe age of 30.
And yes, 30 is young in the full spectrum of life, but regular 30-year-olds don’t call themselves “young (insert name here)” in their everyday lives.
Anyway, we digress.
We also decided to include Chicago producer Young Chop in our round-up. Although he isn’t a rapper, we included him because out of the nine other artists, he happened to be the youngest, at the beginning of his career and currently.
If you want to know which rapper kicked off his career as “young” at 27-years-old, scroll down.
