Police investigating the brutal Woolwich, London attack had another break in their case, when a 10th suspect was arrested on Monday.

The 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to murder 25-year-old drummer, Lee Rigby, last Wednesday. However, police gave no further details about the suspect’s identity.

The soldier was attacked by Michael Adebolajo, 28, and Michael Adebowale, 22, who are said to be Islamic extremists. After running him over with a vehicle on a busy street, they hacked him with meat cleavers and nearly decapitated him.

Both men were shot and taken into custody, where they remain. Last week, police rounded up nine suspects who they believe are connected with the attackers.

British officials say the two main suspects had been known to them for some time, but revelations that Adebolajo had been arrested in Kenya in 2010 – and claims that British security officials had tried to recruit him as an informer after that – have fueled questions about whether U.K. authorities could have done more to prevent last week’s killing.

Story developing.
