While we often report on the style stars we know and love, and those who are frequent customers at the Gucci Gucci Louis Louis, Fendi Fendi and Prada stores, every now and then, we like to take a step away from the norm for a refreshing change.
That change is coming in the form of the UK’s latest export: Little Mix, so scoot a little to the left, Rita Ora.
Little Mix are a British four-piece girl group formed in 2011 on the X-Factor, and while there aren’t many girl groups killing it since Spice Girls called it quits, the foursome is bringing the same girl power sound to the mainstream with a look just as unique.
Consisting of 4 members all under the age of 21 (Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall) the girls are the furthest thing from a carbon cut girl band, and if you think they’re doing any of that matchy Destiny’s Child business, you’re wrong.
The girls each tout their own individual style and at any given photo op, it’s possible to point out 4 different “of the moment” trends. The other grand scheme? They wear affordable clothing that serves as a reminder to the masses that you don’t have to spend big to look unique.
