Celebrity names always get aligned with the strangest of things….A fan is claiming a Rihanna endorsed product left her with the keepsake of a lifetime: herpes.
According to reports, Starkeema Greenidge claims in a new lawsuit she was at a Rihanna concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center earlier in the month, when she was approached by a M.A.C. rep who was promoting Rihanna’s RiRi Woo M.A.C samples.
Well, according to reports from the fan, the rep applied the RiRi Woo lipstick straight from the tube to her upper lip and told her to press her lips together and spread it around.
The woman then told TMZ the day after the concert, “My whole lip was irritated and hugely swollen.” Greenidge says she went to a doctor and he told her she had herpes.
The suit claims the lipstick had been previously applied to the lips of others at the concert who may have possibly been carrying the herpes virus.
Yuck, yuck and yuck. One word here: sanitize.
