2 Chainz doesn’t just have a fresh twist on his locs for the June issue of GQ, he also has quite the fresh mouth.
In June’s Comedy Issue, GQ names the “40 Things Making Us Laugh Right Now,” and chief among them is rapper 2 Chainz, whom the magazine crowned the “King of Two Liners.” The rapper is draped in Versace for the shoot, as he shows off some pretty well done leg ink and nicely laced locs…oh and did we mention that heavy weight gold belt? 2 Chainz may look original, but when it comes to music, he admits that there aren’t many new sounds circulating:
“There’s nothing new under the sun,” Chainz says about the lyrics for his second album, out this summer. “Everyone’s sold dope, fucked bitches, popped champagne, shot guns. I’ll take the extra minutes to do it a new way.”
