Miley Cyrus sure is happy to live in California, and it’s mostly because you can be anyone you want to be in the Golden State – even a stoner!
The “We Can’t Stop” singer recently sat down for a very candid interview with Rolling Stone, where she tells the publication all about her preference for weed. She even made it a point to note marijuana is a safer drug than alcohol.
When asked flat out if she’s a stoner, Miley replied:
“You can’t ask someone that and expect them to say yes. I did a song with Snoop Dogg called ‘Ashtrays and Heartbreak,’ so people can put it together for themselves.”
The Disney-girl-gone-hip-hop also added:
“I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana. People can be mad at me for saying that, but I don’t care. I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed.”
“As long as it isn’t illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it’s legal in the state of California. So I’m happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be.”
