Taylor Swift, ladies and gentlemen, is going to come back and she’s going to let you all finish, but she might just have the biggest single of all time! Welll, not of all time, but definitely on iTunes. The song was the fastest to rise to number one in iTunes history when it was added earlier this August.
‘Mine’ is a song only Taylor Swift can sing and she’s singing the heck (Taylor wouldn’t approve of another word) out of it and if you haven’t heard it by now, we’re going to give you a chance to do so, but first, let’s talk about this album.
Speak Now is still months away from being released (it’s scheduled date is October 25), but already the single has been a hit on the charts and just today, the label released the album cover art, which looks remarkably like the cover art for ‘Mine’ (pictured above). The only difference is the background and the color dress, but she still has that same innocent, come-hither look, facing in the same direction (to her left) as she did on her last cover. Oh well. In related news, Swift will perform ‘Mine’ for the first time on September 1 at the Country Music Awards.
