Kanye West normally reserves his deadpan facial expressions for variations of Vogue publications, but his latest cover isn’t a Mario Testino shot…it’s the cover of WeSC.

The publication successfully tapped the creator and innovator of music, arts and culture, Mr. Kanye West, for the cover of their upcoming issue of the Superlative Conspiracy Magazine, issue No. 8.

According to the press release, this wasn’t a fly-by-night collaboration; Kanye was very involved in the process.

The cover itself is shot in Milan by Swedish photographer Andreas Kock, where West was very much involved with the art direction and location scouting – one being an old Italian church. In the cover story Kanye shares one of his latest innovations, the 7-screen project–telling us why it is important to clear the path for others to dream big.

You can get The Superlative Conspiracy Issue No.8 in WeSC stores around the world or download the free WeSC app available for Apple and Android – both available end of August.
