Katy Perry will be roaring for breast cancer next month.

The “Dark Horse” singer announced that she and her celebrity friends will be putting on a charity concert for the Young Survivor Coalition.

The We Can Survive breast cancer concert will go down on October 23 in Los Angeles, and will feature performances by Ellie Goulding, Tegan & Sara, Kacey Musgraves, and Sara Bareilles.

In a recent interview, Katy dished on why the We Can Survive benefit concert is so important to her cause.

“These are all very powerful women that I really respect and look up to. I wanted them to come together to promote this supportive message and have a fantastic night full of great music. There’s so many great acts in this lineup. And I get to play a lot of songs off the record that will have come out the night before.”

Katy Perry’s forthcoming album, Prism, is scheduled to drop October 22. Tickets for the charity concert will go on sale on September 27 on Ticketmaster.
