Oh Idris…
Idris Elba has been on a winning streak but one role that sadly won’t be added to his IMDB page is James Bond.
While there’s been lots of talk about the Luther actor taking on the role in an upcoming James Bond film, which folks point out would make him the first “Black Bond,” Idris shut that all the way down. Not only will it not be happening but he also expressed he hates the term “Black Bond.”
On ITV’s Lorraine he says:
“It’s a rumor that’s gotten out of control, basically — but that’s all it is,”
He added:
“We don’t say ‘white Bond,’ we just say ‘Bond.’ So it suddenly becomes a black man and he’s a ‘black Bond.’ So I hate that phrase.”
Agreed! But the real talk is Idris’ antics last night! The heart throb actor decided he would get his lovely adorers hot and bothered with this tweet:

Nevertheless, Idris, his smile and his bow tie were on their way to a pretty important function last night. The actor along with his Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom co-star, Naomie Harris hit the red carpet for the 2014 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.
The 41 year old was all smiles as he posed for the photogs, we wonder if that means… never mind.
