Just when you thought Toronto Mayor Rob Ford was done with the illegal activity (and more into dancing) a lawsuit alleges that the disgraced politician ordered an attack on his incarcerated brother-in-law in an attempt to keep him quiet about Ford’s drug use.

The attack on Scott MacIntyre, which left him with shattered teeth and a broken leg, was orchestrated by Aedan Petros, a fellow inmate who played defensive tackle for Ford when he was the coach of the football team at Don Bosco Catholic Secondary School.

MacIntyre alleges that Petros, along with several other inmates, threatened him a number of times before the March 22, 2012 incident in the Toronto West Detention Center’s shower.

“They wanted to know if I was going to do the right thing – was I going to keep my mouth shut [about Rob Ford],” Mr. MacIntyre told The Globe and Mail, adding that they said “there is no use in bringing Rob into this; what’s done behind closed doors stays behind closed doors.”

Ministry spokesman Brent Ross said an investigation into the beating has been launched, however, no findings have been released. And Ford has yet to answer questions sent to him by letter from The Globe.

He did, however, tell the Toronto Sun that his role in the beating was “far-fetched” and “way out there.”

Ford’s lawyer and close adviser, Dennis Morris, said the notion that the mayor had advance knowledge of the attack on MacIntyre was “insanity.”

But with his history, is anything too “far-fetched?” Sound off below…
