This Valentine’s Day, while you were gorging on heart-shaped candy, we were on the scene for a good cause to celebrate the big boss Russell Simmons, Danny Simmons, and the Board of Directors of Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation as they presented the Rush Hearts Education event to benefit Rush’s Education Programs.
The Luncheon, held at the Plaza Hotel and hosted by Cynthia Nixon, honored Zac Posen, Alek Wek and Patina Miller for their careers and philanthropic achievements, as well as their dedication to our youth, arts and education initiatives.
We were one of the few press outlets on the scene and got the opportunity to chat with Russell, Angela Simmons, Zac Posen and more. Oh, and after talking about the adorable Valentines she made with her son, Cynthia Nixon addressed rumors of a possible Sex and the City reunion.
