You can do a lot of things on twitter but making a fake terrorist threat, is not one of them.
A Dutch teen was arrested Monday morning after tweeting threats to American Airlines. Sarah, the 14-year-old tweeted a threat to the airline as a joke Sunday.
After realizing that the Airline was serious about contacting the FBI, the teen suffered feelings of fear and joy.
Sarah’s account is now suspended. Dutch police released a statement about the matter.
We’re not in a state that we can communicate any state of charges at this point, we just thought it was necessary to bring this out mostly because of the fact that it caused a great deal of interest on the Internet.
The botton line? Never tweet about threatening innocent people, even if it just for kicks.
