Black History Month is officially underway, and we’re kicking it off in style.

There’s a lot going on in February. Valentine’s Day and All-Star Weekend are right around the corner. Not to mention, Super Bowl Sunday is one week away. Still, while you’re out mixing it up during New York Fashion Week, remember not to lose sight of the true importance of this month.

Fortunately, we’ve rounded up the apparel and accessories that you can wear to represent the culture no matter where you find yourself during the next 28 days. Each item screams Black pride, and yes – they’re SO necessary.

Thank us later.

Ariel Brands offers made-to-order products that feature artwork created by artist KeturahAriel. Purchase the “I’m In Love With Coco Mug” here.

We’re also feeling their “Internal Battle Mug.” Can’t go wrong with either.

Also from Pop Caven, the African Fashion Dolls tee.

ArrogantMind clothing offers a selection of tees and crewnecks featuring Black stars such as Biggie, Hov, and more. Check them out here.

Served Fresh continues their mission to raise awareness about social issues, and their 3M crewneck is a must-have with a message. Purchase here.

Habitually Fly brings you the Nef Fresh crewneck and we’re in LOVE. They also offer a Black Love collection, complete with a “Barack & Michelle Taught Me” tee. Click here for more.

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. artist Yelda Ali and Pin Drop NYC bring you the People of Peace set. Get it here.

How dope are these earrings from Etsy store Triburban?
