The hip-hop Gods have blessed us all. What we have here is a combination of giants. Black Thought, rap’s most underrated emcee, with Styles P, the hardest rapper to ever pick up a mic, on a track produced by THE 9th Wonder. The title of the track alone should be enough to set your speakers on fire.

Black Thought is as sharp as ever, as he rumbles through about two and a half minutes of raps that would put most emcees to shame.

“Out of space the place that I’m parking in/My marketing when you the see the sky darkening/ Rhyme artisan from the crew that’s bipartisan/Hi hater the 5th grader you’re not smarter than/ Alpha and Omega you Betas I march harder than”

Styles P holds his own, dropping the sort of wisdom in his raps that only emcees of his caliber can produce.

“Should we kill ’em or let ’em live/ I don’t f*ck with no suckas, never did/ Mi amore if you amore/ if I ever go to war it’s the kids I do it for/I eat emcees they can send me a few of ya’ll”

These are only a few of the deadly gems on a track that 9th Wonder certainly lost his noodle on. You should just press “play” and turn this one up high.

More music from J. Dilla is always a good thing. With the new album releasing April 15th, this new joint was released to give a fans a taste of what to expect. Though Dilla has been gone for a while, it’s great to see the spirit of him lives on through his music. A couple of years ago, Nas created his own Dilla song with “The Season.” Earlier this month, he went back to the drawing board with a new single he premiered at SXSW titled “The Sickness.”
