Jonas Aukerlund has done it again!

The Swedish born director has delivered yet another interesting and visually stunning video, this time in the form of Britney Spear’s ‘Hold It Against Me.’

The video can best be described as sci-fi meets post apocalyspe punk reminscent of ‘Tank Girl’ meeting Grace Jones and Keith Haring on a launch pad.

Last time we saw Aukerlund, he directed Lady Gaga and Beyonce in ‘Telephone’ and Rihanna and David Guetta in the night version of Doritos ‘Who’s That Chick.’ In 2002, he directed the hyper kinetic junkie movie ‘Spun’ starring Jason Schwartzman, Brittany Murphy, John Leguizamo, Mickey Rourke and Patrick Fugit. In 2008, he directed ‘Horsemen’ starring Dennis Quaid, Ziyi Zhang, Lou Taylor Pucci.

Aukerlund may best be remembered for his seven wins at the 1998 MTV Music Video Awards including Video of The Year for Madonna’s ‘Ray of Light.’ Aukerlund also won a Grammy for the video that year. Since then he’s worked with Christina Aguilera, Rammstein, Roxette, P!nk, U2, Blink 182 and Metallica. His more recent works are the controversial pornographic music video for Rammstein’s ‘Pussy’ and Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone.’

He lives with his wife, stylist B.Aukerlund, and his son, in Sweden.
