I’m deeply saddened by the news of the three suicides that happened – just this week! So far, there has been three young men – who have ended their lives, and felt that they didn’t have the will to live on. Why? Because they felt like they could not be accepted for who they are. This is a huge tragedy. Perez Hilton brought my attention to the It Gets Better Campaign. that – I’m now a part of! Ciara and I created a video to inspire the youth to celebrate their individuality.

I want all of the gay youth to know that it does get better. I remember being a teen and it can be tough. Everyone feels like they do not fit in, emotions are running wild, and your peers can be mean. I want each one of you to know that you are in control of your life, you will determine your own destiny, and have the key to your future.
I also want each of you to celebrate who you are, your individuality, and understand your self-worth. I urge all young people out there, to please tell your family and friends what you are feeling. There are people in the world that love and care about you. Please celebrate who you are! Your uniqueness makes this world a better place.
