It is fashion week here in New York City and it seems like everyone and their mama is in town. Yet in the hip hop world we see it differently. According to the world of hip hop it was Sean Carter week. A press conference, followed by his album being pushed up, a xillion interviews, a t-pain diss, a 10 rocawear celebration and a benefit show that was much more than a benefit. It was a defining moment in the greatest hip hop career we have ever seen.

On Thursday Jay-Z and his celebrity friends got together to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Rocawear. The party was held in the rocawear offices, DJ D-Nice worked the wheels of steel, as colleagues and friends enjoyed and endless supply of drinks provided by Absolut. The view from a top of the city was amazing as was the vibe in the building.

DJ Clue, Terrence J, Teyana Taylor, Gorilla Zoe and many more were in the building.

Actor Brian J White throws the diamond up in front of the Rocawear artwork that decorated the walls.
Gorilla Zoe showed off his ice. He is about to start working on his next album which he promised will be filled with hits. Lost is still one of my favorite records of the year.
My good friend Teyana Taylor was in the building shining like the star. The young starlet and myself caught up on from the last time we seen each other.
Jay and his entourage were crowded by a sea of people trying to catch a glimpse of the biggest rapper the world has ever seen. He had an intense conversation w/ Laurie Ann Gibson, as he posed for pictures, and enjoyed the moment on the night before his Answer The Call show in the Garden.
Yours truly was apart of the 10 anniversary celebration. Rocawear asked me to take part in their CeWEBrity Photo shoot. Be on the look out for your favorite bloggers this week as they take over the internet in a major way.
Big shout out to Monee & Aleesha at ROC4LIFE.com asking me to take part in history.
On to Jay’s big night. Celebs filled the crowd and backstage was buzzing with anticipation for the show. Justin Timberlake, Swizz Beatz, Rihanna and many more enjoyed the show from backstage. As Gov David Patterson, Miss Info, Kevin Lyles, Mike Kyser and more watched the show from the special VIP seating area.
