The first annual Nike World Basketball Festival was a success. The four day event gave you everything you wanted from a history perspective, excitement, fun, surprises, and great basketball.

My favorite part was the look on the kids faces during the Chainlink skills session when they were being helped by none other than Kobe Bryant. Seeing Michael Jordan in person for the first time wasn’t bad either.
The Brooklyn vs. Bronx game at Rucker Park was extremely competitive and the MCs were hilarious. Brazil and Puerto Rico didn’t give the fans much of a show during their game at Rucker Park. Puerto Rican point guard and Miami Heat guard, Carlos Arro
