Everyone knows that drinking interferes with brain development, and decreases the learning ability. BUT recent studies performed by Berkeley and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation linked teen drinking to benign breast disease (BBD).

YES, breast cancer!

Their studies showed that out of 7,000 teenagers, 50% are more likely to increase the risk of this deadly disease. Thus, is the reason why doctors tell women not to consume any alcoholic beverage while pregnant. Reseachers claimed that a non-cancerous tumor begins to develop and can turn into breast cancer later on in life. This tumor is common in those aged from 30 years or younger.

So, what does this mean?

To prevent BBD or breast cancer, adolescents shouldn’t make drinking apart of their daily regime. Parents are encouraged to get help for their teen(s) with a drinking problem. IMMEDIATELY!
