It Is Here: No Slices!

It has been a long time coming, and Ayindé has had fans on their toes waiting for the release of "No Slices"! Featured on Good Music All Day, TruStatement.com and of course elleELLEeye.blogspot.com, Ayindé isn’t just a rapper, he’s a true artist. And I’m not just saying this to gas or boost his ego, but I seriously was impressed with this mixtape. From "The Procession" to the "Outro" (and bonus tracks: "Breastesses" and "Started"), I was overwhelmed with excitement and pride.

My Review: "No Slices" – I love it! The track you produced was great and like I said before it brought tears to my eyes. It felt like I knew you since you were in diapers and you told me that one day you want to make a mixtape named "No Slices" and now it’s finally here. "Gone", this is my "When I get my first car this is the first song imma blast" song. I love it, it definitely had me hyped up. "Ayindigo" is my joint! Both of ya’ll flows are crazy on it and the beat is…it just is (and I mean that in a good way). "Do It" reminds me of Bugz from Rekon and I’m trying to compare it to something, but I can’t so let’s just move on lol.

The balance on the mixtape is great. I feel like he covered all bases musically and he definitely showed all sides of Ayindé. "Praise/Love" is wonderful, I love the vocals, and the instrumentation at the end is crazy. I’m thinking that there should be a "Praise/Love" Part II on his next project. You know I love "Love Love" because I’m a sucker for love and it was cute. The ladies will be thinking that he’s talking directly to them (and you gotta love those tracks). "Relax Your Mind" is my joint, one because it’s one of the most chill tracks on the record & two, because Kemizt is featured (click here for his mixtape "The Vigil"). "Napkins Please" was a great finish to the mixtape and Ayindé went in for no reason (and I mean that in the best way possible…thanks for the elleELLEeye shoutout! And my favorite track of all goes a little something like this: "boogas, boogas, ((b*tch!)) sorry mama" lol. I loved it!

Shoutout to everyone who was a part of the project as far as producing/mixing/engineering and all of that! The mixtape collectively is a great listen and is one of those "play it straight through" albums. Notice I said albums and it’s only a mixtape. That should say it all. You can mark my words in saying that Ayindé will be signed sooner than later. Looking forward to the next one!Let us know your favorite track!
