There are a lot of internet rumors going around that Lil Rob, the Cali Chicano rapper, died yesterday from lung cancer. This is NOT true. Sources tell Global Grind that Lil Rob is doing fine and that the rumors are just that, rumors. Todd Angkasuwan, a music video director and homies of Rob, tells Global Grind, ‘He’s fine. Just talked to him like 45 min. ago. He thought it was crazy. ‘
Fingazz, who is also from Cali, and who produced a number of Lil Rob records tweeted:

In straight Cali fashion, Lil Rob loves rockin the oldies in many of his records. Lil’ Rob songs that use oldies include; ‘Natural High’ & ‘I Remember’ & ‘Linda Mujer’ & ‘No Soy de Ti’ & ‘Brought Up In A Rough Neighborhood’. His latest record, Love & Hate, came out in September of 2009 on Upstairs Records.
