Last night at the MTV Video Music Awards, we enjoyed many of the performances but Taylor Swift‘s performance of a new song ‘Innocent’ definitely surprised and impressed us. A year later and the Kanye West –Taylor Swift beef is still a hot topic. Ever since, Kanye West publicly apologized to Taylor Swift, we have been impatiently waiting for her response. And finally with her performance of ‘Innocent,’ she offers an olive branch out to Kanye and it is obvious (and relieving, to say the least) that she has forgiven him. With lyrics like ‘You’re still an innocent/ It’s OK, life is a tough crowd/ 32 and still growing up now/ Who you are is not what you did/ You’re still an innocent’ it is obvious that she is addressing Kanye and more importantly that the beef is over. Finally!
