You’re looking at Julian Keller 18, from upstate New York. Keller was one of hundreds of fans who spent hours in the cold in Union Square in New York City to buy the Nintendo 3DS, the newest handheld gaming system from Nintendo.

The game launched last night with great fanfare — think food trucks, live bands, giveaways, hot dogs, taco trucks, the shut down of Best Buy. The Nintendo 3DS lets users enjoy 3D visuals without the need for special glasses.

The event started way before midnight but many attendees were camped out for days, including Keller who was dressed in a Captain Falcon costume. “My dad helped me with my costume, it’s Captain Falson,” Keller, who has several gaming consoles, said. Keller was there since 10 AM Friday morning. Triforce Johnson, however, was on line since March 22. Check out a video and photo of Triforce after the break.

Hyper-gamer Triforce Johnson, wearing a Nintendo power-glove, camped out for days in front of Best Buy and was harassed by police. He lost his place in line but regained it on day two, March 22.

In addition to handing out water, t-shirts, hot dogs and sweaters, Nintendo also hooked the crowd up with free tacos.

It was cold out, but that didn’t stop these two gamers.
