Did anyone else fancy mermaids over princesses, growing up? I was so obessed with becoming one as a child, and never really found princesses to be fun. I mean sure they wore beautiful gowns, dated and married handsome princes and later became queens that ruled over enchanted countries where all was merry, but mermaids, were like free spirits, they were water babies, they would meet a sexy human man, make he’d fall in love with them and then without notice, [we’d] swim away into the ocean only leaving memoroies of our beauty! Dont ask why even as a child this intrigued me but it’s definitely become a way of life for me! Nicki Minaj is a Barbie, Piper is a Mermaid!
So when I stumbled across the amazingly beautiful Yana Karpova in the latest issue of L’ Officiel Russia mag, looking mermaid-ish I fell in love! I mean I seriously can’t express my love for mermaids enough. This is what I would look like as a 2010 Fashion forward Mermaid!
