And congratulations are in order for all of those mentioned. Let me be the first to say that I am an advocate of young black love and so happy to see our young people be adult enough to take that step that is so often frowned upon in our community. While all the while male and female alike wanting to “sow their wild oats” keep their player ways, or the so called writing on the right one. Thinking that settling down is the wrong thing to do. (And are living the life as such anyway) Makes you wonder if this is a new trend that is catching on, if so I hope that it never ends. Marriage is something so beautiful and sacred that all people should experience in their life time at least once. The unbreakable bond between man and woman that god has intended for all. Not just making children and calling each other the ever irritating title of “Baby Daddy” or “Baby Mama” girlfriend or boyfriend, and instead being able to call their significant other Husband and Wife. This is a much needed and welcomed change that hip hop culture/popular culture, as well as our generation should embrace and keep it going. It gives our children something to look up to other than video girls in little to no clothes, rappers with their many women, jewelry, money, cars, and clothes. Being able to see that there is more to life than having or being someone’s “JUMPOFF”. All the while the song that plays in my head is International Players Anthem, I choose you by UGK with Outkast video and song plays….SMH while LMAO!!
