We’ve been waiting for this day.
Cameron Diaz is dabbling in the fashion industry? Absolutely. She was announced as Artistic Director of the shoe and bag accessories line Pour la Victoire earlier today.
Diaz told WWD:
I’m interested in learning how collections are created. The word ‘fun,’ I want to say that it’s going to be fun, but it’s deeper than that.
When can you expect this line to hit stores? It won’t be until next spring. However, if you can’t wait that long, you can check out some products coming this fall and holiday season called “Cameron’s Picks.”
“I don’t do endorsements really. This is completely different,” she says.
According to WWD, Diaz owns a stake in the company, which is different than many of the celebrities we see usually only endorsing the products. She’s in charge of not only designing the bags and shoes, but she’ll be submerged in the merchandising, marketing, and advertising side of the project as well.
We can’t wait to see what this blonde bombshell comes up with, so stay tuned.
