As we continue to wait for Drake’s highly anticipated forthcoming album Nothing Was The Same, it’s hard not to wonder what it will sound like.

Sure, we’ve gotten teasers here and there, when Drizzy decided to release four new songs back in June.

But of course that wasn’t enough.

In lieu of this dilemma, we’ve found a temporary solution.

One of the producers featured on Nothing Was The Same, Detail, has revealed some details about Drake’s forthcoming album.

Detail recently caught up with XXL, describing what it was like to work with the “Headlines” rapper. He mentioned what we can expect from the album, and how the Toronto-based rapper introduced him to living like a true Canadian.

Here’s what Detail revealed about the album:

“The album is amazing. I can talk about the elements. Vocally, what’s he doing is amazing. And then, just being a real nigga. He’s got a song on his album that I wish I was there to play the hi-hats! Or I wish I was [there] to play the snare! I wish I was in there with a metronome! Somehow, I wish I was a part of that song. I still wish I was a part of that song. That’s all I can say.”

He also gave us some insight on how the album was made:

“I just came back from Canada working with Drake. I went out there to get the Canada lifestyle and it was great. He took me to a concert. [We] smoked some hookah. [It was a session] for Nothing Was The Same. That album is phenomenal.”

Sounds like the Champagne Papi has quite a masterpiece in the works. Nothing Was The Same is set to be in store shelves by September 27, until then, we’ll keep you posted on any upcoming details.
