There are more than a few reasons we should be concerned about butt implants, but the latest is adding another notch of concern to the levels of strange that booty obsessions are reaching.

We’ve heard of video vixens, average women and even some celebrities getting a little plump added to their rump, but now it seems like men are the latest patients up on the operating table.

The New York Times did us the liberty of shedding some light on the butt insecurity issues that men are battling, with a post focused on Jeff Vickers, who owns a construction company, and admits to sucking some fat from his gut and putting it in his butt.

He explains his decision, saying:

“I just wanted to be able to put on a pair of pants and for them to stay up. I’m not a girl so I’m not worried about having a table back there you could sit a coffee cup on.”

The men just want their damn pants to stay up! Who would have known that this was an issue all these poor poor men were struggling with?

According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, men accounted for 6.2 percent of cosmetic buttocks procedures in 2012, up from 2.2 percent in 1997That’s a whole lotta booty getting nipped and tucked.

Men lie, women lie, but statistics about butt surgery don’t, so this is definitely a procedure that is happening on a male’s booty near you.
