Frank Ocean will contribute his musical talents to John Mayer‘s sixth studio album Paradise Valley. Ocean and Mayer are collaborating on a poetic track called “Wildfire.” Previously, the two worked together for Ocean’s album Channel Orange, in which Mayer showed off his instrumental skills on “White.”
They also teamed up last year for Frank Ocean’s single “Pyramids” and performed the hit on Saturday Night Live. Earlier this year, in an interview with Rolling Stone, Mayer spoke about working with Ocean, saying,
“Frank is such an interesting, deep, touched, wonderful guy.”
John Mayer’s new project will also feature his alleged on again-off again girlfriend Katy Perry. Paradise Valley hits stores August 20th.
