It wasn’t easy, but Kanye West’s polarizing Yeezus album finally earned a gold plaque.

It’s been almost eight weeks since Kanye released his sixth studio album, and the 10-track project has moved over 500,000 units. Upon its initial release, Yeezus debuted number one on Billboard with 327,000 copies sold.

Since then, Kanye moved another 200,000 copies. Unfortunately for Ye, the sharp decline in week two sales landed Yeezus at the fourth spot for the largest second week sales decline in Soundscan History.

Not very god-like, but we’ll still let Yeezy keep his god card.

Congrats Kanye!
