Domonique Newburn, the transgendered cast member of the hit web-series “Hollywood Houseboys,” was found dead earlier this week after suffering what the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has described as “blunt trauma.”

The YouTube web-series has been described as “a docu-reality series that opens the doors behind the daily lives of four gay friends, their relationships and how they form their own limelight into Hollywood.”

Police were responding to a domestic violence call when they found Domonique’s body at around 4:30 p.m. August 20 in her Bennett Avenue home. The apartment is located 45 miles outside of Los Angeles in Fontana, California.

Fontana Police detective Rich Hunt told KNBC news that investigators “found evidence of a struggle, inside and outside.” The coroner said the 32-year-old web-star suffered “blunt trauma.”

Witnesses claim they saw a man in his late 20s or early 30s leaving the residence in Domonique’s black 2004 Mercedes Benz C240.

Though “Hollywood Houseboys” has been on hiatus since its first four episodes were shot in 2010, an unidentified executive producer revealed to KNBC that Newburn had just completed a shoot for the show’s relaunch.

The show’s creator, Ryan Hope, issued the following statement:

“We are all deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of our sister, Domonique Newburn,” he said. “Domonique was an amazing person whose spirit transcended gender. When we set out to document our lives for reality television, we never once wished to make headlines like this. Our thoughts, prayers, and condolences are with her family.”

Our condolences to the Newburn family.
