According to TMZ, George Zimmerman’s mother-in-law filed the police report because George stole furniture and a TV from her house.

The Zimmermans just cannot stay out of the news.
On the day that Shellie Zimmerman came forward to admit she wasn’t so sure George Zimmerman was telling the truth about the Trayvon Martin shooting, her mother, Machelle Dean, called police to report a theft at the house the couple once shared.
According to the Orlando Sentinel:
Officer Zach Hudson late Thursday said Shellie Zimmerman’s mother, Machelle Dean, who with her husband owns the home on Sprucewood Road, reported a theft.
There were no signs of a break-in, and police characterized the incident as a landlord-tenant dispute. Hudson said he didn’t know what was reported stolen.
And who is the tenant of the house now? George Zimmerman. However, other people may have also been staying in the house, Hudson said.
So right now we don’t know who did it…or what was stolen. But we do know that this family loves drama.
