Solange recently chatted about her single, “Lovers In The Parking Lot,” explaining the inspiration behind the video in new behind the scenes footage.
Ms. Knowles describes her fascination with Houston’s legendary flea market, “King’s Best Market,” where the video takes place, saying:
“Every phase I can think of growing up there was always something attracting me to King’s flea market.”
Solange may have come a long way since her Texas upbringing, but it’s obvious she’s still a southern girl at heart and an extremely talented one at that. Fellow Houston native Bun B also makes a cameo in the clip.
