Ashlee Simpson celebrated her 29th birthday over the weekend and she was in great company.
Evan Ross – Ashlee’s boyfriend and Hunger Games star – joined the former rock star in Atlanta for a fun time with a group of friends including co-stars Wes Chatham, Jovar Andrews, Liam Hemsworth, and some of Liam’s boys.
The group celebrated at popular Buckhead spot Umi, cut two cakes, and as PEOPLE tells it, enjoyed a night of great food – nigiri, sushi rolls, sashimi, rock shrimp tempura and miso-marinated black cod.
A source revealed to PEOPLE:
“Ashlee and Evan were really sweet. You’d definitely know they were dating if you saw them together.”
The source also reveals that when Liam showed up around 11pm, he didn’t come with any girls, just his boys:
“Liam was solo. Of course, all the girls in the restaurant wanted to sit close to him, but nothing. He didn’t seem interested. He just came with his boys.”
After his very public breakup with Miley Cyrus, Liam has probably just been wanting to unwind. On another note, aren’t Ashlee and Evan super cute together?
