For a while now, rumors have been swirling about Mona Scott-Young casting a new Love & Hip-Hop spinoff in either L.A., Houston, or New Orleans.
Though reports originally got the potential casting wrong, as Letoya Luckett made it clear she will NOT be joining the drama, the blogosphere was totally right about Mona branching out to other locations. At TLC’s CrazySexyCool film premiere, Necole Bitchie took a few moments to catch up with the television mogul and get the scoop in an exclusive interview.
Mona told the site:
“Of course New York starts up again October 28, so I am excited about that, and I am casting in a few other cities. There’s been a lot of chit chat on the interweb about that. I’m looking at L.A., I’m looking at Houston, looking at New Orleans. Yeah, we’re going to find another city to spread our wings into.”
We wonder which city (or cities) will make it onto national TV? If we had to guess, Houston or L.A. will probably be the final picks. We’ll see!
