Let the bump watch begin!

Kerry Washington is set to take the stage as SNL’s guest host this Saturday and we’ve got a look at the night’s events and her itty-bitty-bump.

During her November 2 appearance, Kerry will share the stage with self-proclaimed “Rap God” Eminem. While Kerry brings the laughs, Em will tear down the stage with songs from his upcoming album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Though he’ll miss out on the funny stuff on the night of, we’re sure he got his fill after filming this hilarious SNL preview clip.

Though Kerry just officially announced her pregnancy (we were totally on to you, Kerry!), she’s aglow with pre-baby bliss in the clip. Pregnancy looks good on you, girl.

Amidst the baby buzz, Kerry has been forced to take a time-out from thanking well-wishers and enjoying her moment to address a few rumors, especially a reoccurring one about her sexuality.

In an interview with The Advocate, Kerry officially addresses the rumors that – despite being married to a man – she’s a lesbian. Washington made it very clear that she’s not the least bit bothered by the idle chatter.

“It’s interesting how much people long to fill in the gaps when someone in the public eye doesn’t share their personal life. I understand their frustration,” she says. “I like how people will post pictures of me with other women that I adore, hugging on the red carpets, and say, ‘See?'”

She then posed this very real and totally epic question: “Are we so uncomfortable with love between two people of the same gender that we immediately label it as sexual?”

She closed out the discussion saying, “But I’ve never been bothered by the lesbian rumor. There’s nothing offensive about it, so there’s no reason to be offended.”

We can’t wait to see what Kerry and Eminem bring to the SNL sound stage Saturday – we’re not sure what these two have up their sleeves, but we’re sure they’ll leave big shoes to fill for next week’s hosts.

So who will be tasked with following up this dynamic duo on SNL? Hunger Games heartthrob Josh Hutcherson and musical genius Lady Gaga. This will be the first time either Josh or Gaga have hosted the show.
