Chris Brown entered rehab earlier this week in the hopes that getting treatment for his anger management issues would keep him from doing hard time following his most recent brush with the law. Unfortunately for him, sources claim his rehab stint may not be enough to impress probation officials.

Sources close to the L.A. County Probation Department have revealed that probation officials think Chris’ violent outbursts have only escalated and his decision to check in to a rehab facility was “too little, too late.”

According to TMZ, the Probation Department is launching an aggressive investigation into last weekend’s incident that landed Brown in handcuffs. Chris was involved in an altercation with another man outside of a Washington D.C. hotel after the man allegedly photo bombed CB and a group of girls. Chris was interviewed by probation officers early this week, hours before checking in to rehab.

A source familiar with the case told TMZ, “Probation is gunning for this guy. They’re embarrassed by what he’s done over the last two years and they’ve had it.”

According to TMZ, things aren’t looking good for Chris. Probation plans to submit a report to the judge presiding over the case, pleading for them to revoke his probation. If they get their way, Brown could be looking at four long years in prison.

Though the Probation Department allegedly has it out for Chris, there are plenty of people backing him through this difficult time.

Friend and fellow musician Justin Bieber decided to show his support for Chris the only way he knows how – in paint! J-Biebs took to the streets of Colombia last night to spray paint a message of support for Chris. The spray painted message?

“Free Breezy”
