Rihanna’s heading to a dark place for her new video.

Rihanna takes her fans behind the scenes for her forthcoming “What Now” video. Rocking a rigid black mullet and a silk ensemble, Rihanna channels darkness in the Phuket, Thailand warehouse.

The 25-year-old filmed the video for the Parker Ighile-produced song when she was in South Asia for her “Diamonds World” tour back in September.

The Unapologetic ballad is a soft, dramatic love song, but Rihanna made it very clear her new video isn’t going to be a typical love-inspired storyline.

“It’s gonna be kinda eerie, very creepy because ‘What Now’ is one of those songs that you can get really boring with the visual. Everybody’s probably expecting like a narrative type of video, a love story of some sorts, something really soft and pretty. It is pretty and kinda soft, but it’s really a little demented.”

The official video will premiere tomorrow, November 15. Go behind the scenes with Rihanna up top.
