What better way to celebrate 10 years of excellence from the League of Young Voters, a non-profit organization who works at a grassroots level to inform young people of color about civic duty and politics, than to have a party?

And you’re invited!

Enter to win a pair of VIP tickets to attend the League’s 10th Anniversary on Tuesday, 12/10 at Bar 7 in Washington D.C., where you will be able to sit amongst key community activists and surprise guests!

The League is gearing up to celebrate its 10th anniversary next month. Over the last 10 years, the League of Young Voters has grown from an upstart non-profit into one of the most respected youth civic engagement organizations in the country. The League has actively been involved in the community to ignite the interest and action from young people to make a change in their nation by exercising their right to vote.

More importantly, the League’s national campaigns target the rising American electorate and focuses on communities of color. Earlier this year, the League partnered with international entertainment icon Snoop Lion aka Snoop Dogg for a “No Guns Allowed” campaign inspired by Snoop’s moving single by the same name. The initiative was established to ignite discussions on solutions to end our nation’s gun violence epidemic. By spreading this message of non-violence and enlisting peace ambassadors, the League hopes to urge lawmakers to create responsible gun legislation.

In ongoing support of the League’s initiatives, GlobalGrind will exclusively cover the event and live tweet all festivities from the Anniversary celebration.
