More than 40 children who gathered with the immigration advocacy group Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM) were threatened with arrests after marching to the Congressional offices of House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) and singing about immigration reform. Here’s a little positivity. The owners of an Ohio coffee shop decided to help a man who was caught stealing from the tip jar, throwing him a food drive instead of having police throw him in jail. “We assume that if he was desperate enough to steal tips, he’s probably in desperate times,” said manager Scott Moses. The Center for Disease Control’s latest report reveals that pregnancy rates among teens is at an all-time low, steadily declining over the past two decades. That’s also led to new lows for abortion rates as well. Read about it here…[CDC]

On Thursday, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis identified 30 priests accused of sexually abusing minors in the archdiocese, which has been under fire for its past handling of clergy abuse cases in its part of Minnesota.
