Snoop Dogg

Every year, there are over a dozen new Christmas albums released.

In 2013, we already saw new releases from everyone ranging from Mary J. Blige to Tamar Braxton to Kelly Clarkson to, hopefully, R. Kelly.

Missing from the list, however, is a Christmas album from a hip-hop artist, which is strange and kind of disappointing.

(Like, seriously, how clutch would a Migos Christmas be right about now?)

There have been a number of iconic hip-hop Christmas-related songs over the years. Remember, Christmas songs were very important to hip-hop. Just think about this: the first time we ever heard Outkast on a song, it was on “Players Ball,” a Christmas song.

You don’t really get great Xmas rap songs anymore. Honestly, this is the last classic hip-hop Christmas song:

We’re in the holiday spirit, so we decided to make the ultimate Christmas rap song playlist, featuring mostly old classics like Run-D.M.C.’s “Christmas in Hollis” and Kurtis Blow’s “Christmas Rappin.” Don’t worry, Young Jacks, there’s some newer jawns on here also, like Kanye West’s “Christmas in Harlem” and Run the Jewels’ “A Christmas Fucking Miracle.”

Scroll down and check out the only playlist you’ll need this year.
