Over two decades in this game, and R. Kelly still has a lot of juice. The singer just released his 12th album, Black Panties, lead by the 2 Chainz-assisted “My Story.”
The album looks like it’s going to be a success. According to FakeShoreDrive, Black Panties is expected to sell 100,000 copies in its first week. That’s a step up, considering that Kelly’s last album, last year’s Write Me Back, sold 68,000 copies.
FakeShoreDrive also mentioned that Childish Gambino’s because the internet is probably gonna do around 90,000 copies, which isn’t a bad look for the kid.
Imagine all the records Kelly’s going to sell when he releases the video for “Marry the Pussy?”
