Our good friend Nigel D of RealTalkNY got his hands on a new cut from Harlem World rapper Ma$e titled “Why Can’t We,” featuring a vocalist by the name of Her.
“Jay said it, Drake said it/ don’t be mad now cause Ma$e say it/ come to find out I’m Ye favorite, APs up to all the naysayers,” raps Ma$e.
Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen glimpses of the legendary Harlem rapper. Back in August, Drake brought out Ma$e during his OVO Festival in Toronto, and in 2012, Kanye West featured him on G.O.O.D Music’s Cruel Summer compilation.
No word if Ma$e is working on a forthcoming album, but this is a nice treat for Kwanzaa. Take a listen to Mase’s new offering below.
