Our good friends at TMZ caught up with Beyonce’s flawless mother Tina Knowles at the airport, and she revealed how she consoled Yonce after Girl’s Tyme lost to Skeleton Groove on Star Search in 1993.
“I told her that another day would come, and she would have another opportunity.”
And boy, was Mama Knowles right. Four Destiny’s Child albums, five solo albums, a husband, a baby, and 17 Grammy Awards later, Beyonce seized her opportunity.
The photog also asked Mama Tina what she bought her granddaughter Blue Ivy for Christmas, but like the media savvy woman she is, she declined to divulge that secret.
We’re pretty sure Blue received the best gift ever from Mama Tina, because grandparents give the best Christmas gifts.
