At just 10-years-old, Quvenzhane Wallis boasts a pretty impressive resume! The young actress was nominated for Best Actress for her performance in Beasts of the Southern Wild and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
Right now the pre-teen is preparing to star in the remake of Annie; Producers are waiting to get approval from a judge because she’s a minor.
Though she’s young, you can bet your bottom dollar she’s bringin’ in more dough than most of us will ever see in our lifetime! According to documents obtained by TMZ, the 10-year-old has a base salary of $750,000; She gets double that if her movie does well. Wallis also gets five percent of the profit from each project she does, five percent of all merchandising and 10 percent from soundtrack royalties.
Damn, girl!
And the perks don’t stop there! TMZ is reporting that according to Quevenzhane’s contract, her name cannot appear lower than second position, meaning it is likely to appear before her fellow actress and co-star Cameron Diaz.
She also gets unlimited Wi-Fi in her trailer and a say in what bloopers the public sees. While promoting films, she’s reportedly given three dress options; Once she picks the one she loves, it’s hers to keep – just as long as she doesn’t sell or loan the dress to any one.
The last stipulation in Ms. Wallis’ contract? Her image may be used to promote a film, but not the sale of booze, tobacco products, firearms, feminine hygiene products and pharmaceuticals.
