Everything about celebrities today is very common place and unsurprising, unfortunately. Whether it’s that booty picture from Kim Kardashian, some Thim Slick flicks of Nicki Minaj or 100 pictures of Beyonce all uploaded at once, it’s common for stars of this era to share every single aspect of their lives in photos.
The beauty about entertainment before the 2010 decade is that photos celebs had taken were not immediately available for the public to view, which means some photos have yet to publicly surface.
We put together a gallery of some of our favorite rare photos of celebrities looking cool back in the day. From Janet Jackson to Beyonce, we dug deep into the archives to find some of the most extraordinary photos of hip-pop stars from way back when, including a rarely seen picture of our girl Aaliyah chilling on the set of Romeo Must Die.
