Venezuelan beauty queen Genesis Carmona was shot and killed while attending a protest in Valencia. Her death marks the fifth fatality as people are fighting back against the country’s socialist government. Carmona was finishing up her Bachelor’s degree before her death. She was brought to a hospital by a motorcyclist, but died in the clinic. [E! Online]

So this happened. The daughter of a woman who was stabbed in Knoxville, TN confessed to a news crew that she was trying to kill her in the name of justice. Katie Nichols says that she was under satanic spells when she tried to kill her mother. She also claims that her mother was the head of a satanic cult that was responsible for any future ‘nuclear bombings.’ “She was so powerful, I stabbed her three times. She should have died,” Nichols said. [Gawker]

As protests continue on in Russia and the Ukraine, John McCain called out President Obama and his cabinet. In an interview with Phoenix radio station KYFI, he boldly stated that Obama is the most naive president in history. “The naiveté of Barack Obama and [Secretary of State] John Kerry is stunning.” [Huff Post]

Arizona is at it again. The Arizona State and House have passed a bill that allows businesses to refuse services to the LGBT community based on their religious preferences. Republicans jumped on board with the legislation 17-13. The bill is now heading to Gov. Jan Brewer, who supported a bill in the past banning immigrants from the state. [Jezebel]
