An innocent father from Moore, Oklahoma was killed shortly after being restrained by police officers.
According to CNN, Luis Rodriguez was out with his wife and 19-year-old daughter last week when he tried to break up a fight between the two. When his wife Nair Rodriguez slapped her daughter, police were called onto the scene. The story begins to twist shortly after five police officers held Luis’ face to the concrete.
His wife has said officers beat Luis Rodriguez, CNN affiliate KFOR reported. But Moore Police Chief Jerry Stillings calls the actions of his officers “reasonable.” He would not go in too much detail and said an investigation is underway. But he mentioned that police used pepper spray, CNN affiliate KOCO reported.
It was then that Nair began recording the arrest. With her husband unresponsive, you hear police officers repeatedly screaming to “stop resisting.” As you can see in the video above, Luis’ body is almost lifeless, but later medical responders insist that he is alive. Luis died later in the hospital.
His wife is demanding answers from the Moore Police Department. As of now, three out of the five police officers were put on administrative leave on Saturday.
